Refund policy

 

If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, you can request a return for an exchange or store credit.

You can make your request in one of the following three ways:

 

Return and Exchange Conditions

  • All refunds are issued as store credit. No cash or credit card refunds will be processed.
  • Return shipping is covered for sales within Canada.
  • For returns from the USA, France, and other international countries, return shipping is at the customer's expense.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Shipping fees may apply for exchanging an item.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition: unworn, unaltered, with tags and original packaging.
  • Only one return is allowed per order.
  • All returns must be approved by our customer service before shipping. An unapproved return may be refused or delayed.

Non-returnable Items

Some items are not eligible for return:

  • Gift cards
  • Special orders
  • Items priced at $1000 or more
  • Personalized items (engraving, resizing, etc.)
  • Piercing jewelry
  • Items damaged or altered by another jeweler
  • Sale items or items with a discount of 10% or more
  • Unique jewelry requiring custom fabrication (e.g.: Serafino, Christine Dwane, RMR, Atelier du Bon Bouleau, Mathieu Blanchard Signature)

Return Procedure

  1. Submit your request via our returns portal:

  2. Prepare your package: Ensure that returned items are carefully packed and secured to avoid any damage during shipping. We recommend using the original packaging or equivalent. Please note that any damaged or insufficiently protected return may not be accepted.
  3. Download your return label and confirm the carrier.
  4. Ship the package:
    • If returning via Canada Post: Drop off your package at a Canada Post counter.
    • If another carrier is assigned: You can either drop your package at a service point or request home pickup. To arrange a pickup, please contact us at info@mathieublanchard.ca. An adult must be present at pickup, and the items cannot be left unattended.

Shipping and Liability

  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • If an exceptional refund is granted, these fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  • You are responsible for the item until it is returned to us.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

Returns & exchanges may take a few days to process. If, after 3 days following the receipt of your return at the workshop & store, you have not yet received your store credit, please contact us:

Credit Card Refunds or Order Cancellations (if applicable)

Recent changes in the terms of service for PayPal and Shopify Payments affect refunds:

  • PayPal no longer refunds transaction fees when a refund is issued to the customer.
  • This policy also applies to payments made directly via credit card.
  • No fee is charged for a refund in store credit.
  • If a refund is processed to the original payment method, transaction fees will be deducted at 3.9% (Canada) or 4.9% (USA).
  • This policy does not apply to duplicate, canceled, or disputed transactions.
